Barclay Intermediate School has an annual Batte of the Bands, and in 2008, Christopher Hommel was one of my students who made the cut and performed with his band in front of most of the school, heaps of parents, siblings and spectators.

Well done to all the budding musicians who performed - it is pretty amazing considering these kids were all only 11 - 12yrs old!

Anyway, watch the video as Chris and his band perform Crush Crush by Paramore... I'n keeping an eye on your fingers, Chris!

One thing you've got to remember is that Chris had only being playing guitar about a year when he performed - now that is amazing!!!
