When I teach private students, these are the most common easy songs that students learn to build up a "folder" of songs they can take to parties, camps, and events where they will inevitably be asked to play and sing.
Gigs such as Weddings, restaurant background music, or special occasions require a solo guitarist who can play effectively while unaccompanied. These are my favourite pieces to play in these situations.
I'm almost embarrassed about some of the material I have put here. But if you are at Fingers of Fire, then you are here to IMPROVE your guitar skills. I had to learn the guitar, and it took a lot of years and many many hours practice, just like everyone - some of these pieces are from relatively early in my music career, and they are rough and rugged. Enjoy your listening and I would welcome any thoughts - give me enough encouragement and I might even put a few more up... some worse, some better!!!
