Sometime in 2007 Zenin came along with his latest groovy guitar riff and said he wanted to develop it into a song. We went through some theory, figured out the key of the riff and added some chords - the ideas were all Zenin's and I pointed him in the right direction. The result is a 9th placing in the 2007 PLAY IT STRANGE nationwide songwriting competition. The song DEVIL WOMAN was written by Peter Allen, and the chords/riff written by Zenin. Well done, and to get 9th from several hundred entries is fabulous - rock on Zenin.
