Trent Williams, a student at Cambridge High School, came 34th in the 2006 Nationwide Songwriting competition "Play it Strange" for New Zealand high-school students.

Trent is currently working on more material and hopes to release an album soon.

Well done Trent - all that work we did on theory and songwriting certainly paid off. Of course, you still have to keep playing your scales as well....
